Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28th, 1967) was an American actor and a singer. Wuhrer started her career when she was in her teens. She is best known for her role as Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders and also in the role of her character, Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised in Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble and worked as a pay clerk and German American Andrew Wuhrer. She is the mother of three siblings and brothers. She started singing at club nights as a teenager. She would sneak out of her home to perform. She studied acting from the age of 13 at the Wooster School. Later, she studied acting at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts alongside renowned teacher Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer is an American model, actress and singer.
